Abstractions

In this series, I was interested in combining three elements: shape, colour, and texture. I wanted to derive the colour from acrylic paints and the texture from acrylic mediums.

For the 3-D shapes, I used materials normally thrown into the trash or recycling bin, or objects that were part of my home’s clutter. Do you have a “junk drawer”?

It might be a source of inspiration!
